据我了解，即便是没人推荐，申报多伦多大学的学生也很多。是否决定去某所大学，根本在于是否适合自己。加拿大的大学最大的特点就是每所大学都有自己的强势专业，比如说：数学计算机领域，多大不如滑铁卢；生物医学制药不如麦吉尔；学生最热门的商科，约克和Western大学要比多大更有优势。所以，从这个方面而言，多大未必是适合你的。再从经济方面考虑，多大的学费是出了名的贵，基本和英国澳洲以及美国部分大学一样了，不是每个人都有这样的经济能力的，那么自己就要决定自己的家庭财务背景是否应该考虑多大了。最后，还要说明一下带薪实习，多大很多专业没有带薪实习，有的甚至竞争激烈，反而有些大学的带薪实习机会很多，而且一旦录取，基本就不用再去竞争Co-op了。至于因为淘汰率作为不推荐的多大的理由，个人认为这个就是bull shit。要去留学，尤其是本科毕业后就考虑就业，就必须承担一定的压力。很多家长习惯了国内一旦进入大学，基本不用担心淘汰的思维，本身就给大学的学习创造了安逸的前提。当然，国内很多大学已经在鉴戒西方国家的淘汰制，值得称颂和推广。
