中国刑事警察学院位于辽宁省沈阳市，是公安部直属的本科高等院校。 学校前身是创建于1948年5月的东北公安技术训练大队；1949年改为东北公安干部学校；1954年更名中央人民警察干部学校；1954年公安部重庆化验训练班、上海刑事科学技术研究所等并入；1956年更名公安部第一人民警察干部学校；1981年11月中国刑事警察学院成立，和公安部人民警察干部学校合署办公；1998年获得硕士学位授予权。 根据2016年6月学校官网显示，学院占地面积约35万平方米，建筑面积约16万平方米，设有16个二级系（部），开办7个研究生专业、12个本科专业、14个专业方向、3个第二学位专业，有在校生6000余人。

China Criminal Police College (CPCC), located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is an undergraduate institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Public Security. The school was formerly known as Northeast Public Security Technical Training Brigade, which was established in May 1948. It was renamed Northeast Public Security Cadre School in 1949. In 1954, it was renamed Central People&39;s Police Cadre School. In 1954, Chongqing Laboratory Training Class of the Ministry of Public Security and Shanghai Institute of Criminal Science and Technology were merged into the Ministry. 1956 It was renamed the First People&39;s Police Cadre School of the Ministry of Public Security. In November 1981, China Criminal Police College was established, working together with the People&39;s Police Cadre School of the Ministry of Public Security. In 1998, it was authorized to confer master&39;s degree. According to the official website of the university in June 2016, the college covers an area of about 350,000 square meters, with a building area of about 160,000 square meters. It has 16 second-level departments (departments), 7 graduate majors, 12 undergraduate majors, 14 professional directions and 3 second-degree majors, and has more than 6,000 students.
